Q4 2023 Geolocation Games Performance on Android in Brazil

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Brazil's Android platform saw various trends among the top geolocation games. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into how these applications have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Pokémon GO experienced fluctuating revenue, peaking at $54K in late September and dipping to around $25K by the end of December. Downloads saw a significant spike in mid-October, reaching 62K, while weekly active users trended downwards from 5.3M to 3.8M throughout the quarter.

Niantic, Inc.'s newer release, Monster Hunter Now, showed a decline in revenue, starting at nearly $2K and closing the quarter just above $1K. The game's downloads had a sharp drop after the initial launch, with periods of no new downloads recorded, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 36K.

Jam City, Inc.'s Jurassic World Alive saw its revenue fluctuate, with a peak of $1.2K in early and late November and December. Downloads reached their highest at over 12K in early November, and weekly active users peaked at 28K mid-quarter before settling around 20K by the year's end.

Ingress Prime, another Niantic, Inc. title, had modest revenue figures, peaking at $1K in mid-November. The game had no new downloads throughout the quarter, which is an interesting trend to note. No data was available for weekly active users for Ingress Prime.

Lastly, Pikmin Bloom, also from Niantic, Inc., showed a downward trend in revenue, starting the quarter at $284 and ending at $197. The game's downloads dropped to zero after the third week of October, but weekly active users remained fairly consistent, with a slight decrease from 36K to 35K.
